This war witnessed the worst atrocities Europe had seen since World War II. The devastating conflict between Serb, Croat and Muslim communities is remembered worldwide for the terrible scenes of ethnic cleansing, concentration camps and mass graves.
One of the biggest war criminals in the former Yugoslavia, Zelko Raznatovic-Aran was the one who had participated in some of the worst crimes in Bosnia
In a video recently published by the Croatian media, Arkan is seen along with Muslim prisoners, a number of whom had survived until most were dead.
He asks the prisoners how many Muslims are dead and after their response that the number goes above 100, Arkan rejoices at this figure with the words “Mashalah”.
As many deaths as you have”, ask Arkan to Bosnian prisoners, “Mbi a hundred” answers one of the prisoners, “Mashilla, Mashilla” he gives them back.
