Defence Minister Olta Xhacka's next stop, during the government's public accountability tour, moved to Debar County this time.
In the town of Peshpipi, Minister Gacka gave the good news that in two weeks work on the Arber Street begins, which will connect Bulqiza with Tirana in just 30 minutes, the Oranews reports.
Gacka: “Dibra has given many Albania over the years in history and it is time to take back what is due. The tools have finally arrived, and in two weeks work begins on the road, and our ambition is that within three years Tirana-Bulqiza -- which will be connected in just 30 minutes -- is over.
Fortunately, it's on a good track, and it's going to become a reality very quickly, and I'm convinced that after this extraordinary opportunity, even the Debar will be connected to the rest and will grow at a much faster pace, even with all the values you have here, which are wisdom, the workshop, the ability to do good things, the big things”.
In conversation with citizens, the defence minister underlined that, road construction cannot cloud other needs that citizens have for education, health, infrastructure, for more roads, for more schools, for more irrigations, for more services, which are related to the daily work the Government or municipality does.
In Melan's Administrative Unit, she stressed that the confrontations with citizens are the true mirrors of governance according to the expectations people have for those they trust with their vote.
During the conversation with residents of the Macedonian Administrative Unit, the defence minister stressed the meritocratic system for all who serve citizens in every corner of Albania.
Gache: We've come to power, promising that, the old way of doing things, you take one hand and you take the other one, the mother and the other stepmother, we'll break it. And that we would build a system as meritocratic as possible. But the important thing is that our will to change things for the better is very strong.
And Macedonia will be represented even more, even better. Our obligation to Macedonia is severalfold, not only because of size, not only because of the importance that Macedonia may have for the district of Debar or the Basque of Debar, but also because of the great faith that we have
