Russian police on Saturday have arrested dozens of protesters as they gathered in front of the country where they would be inaugurated as Russia's president, Vladimir Putin.
At least 15 people and a journalist have been arrested in the Siberian town of Krasnoyarski, the independent monitoring group reported “DW” Transmission Periscope.
Several videos published on social networks show a large number of the ultranationalist group that have appeared in Moscow Square to support Putin.
Russian opposition leader Navajo, who was denied the nomination in presidential elections, has called on Russians to protest the fourth term as Russian president by Vladimir Putin.
“Placu Putin thinks it is a car”, the leader of the Russian opposition said in front of the protesters. “But he's not our car”.
Russia has witnessed the biggest protests since the collapse of the Soviet Union at the time it completed its third term on Putin. In response, Russian security launched a brutal action by arresting hundreds of protesters. /Periscopi/
