A soldier in San Marco, Texas, has died Thursday week in an unconnected military incident, the US Department of Defence has suggested.
U.S. Army Sergeant Conrad A. Robinson, 36, died Thursday at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo, the Pentagon has announced, broadcast Koha.net.
We are extremely upset with the death of Sergeant Conrad Robinson. Robinson has been known around the battalion for his infectious smile, humor and gentle heart. It was the definition of unique service, and each day it cost soldiers time to listen and teach. Our thoughts and prayers are with our family and friends during this difficult time”, said Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Kelly.
Kelly is the commander of the 261 Medical Battalion from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where Robinson was assigned.
Robinson was an 18-year-old veteran and was on his last tour in office, according to his mother, Synthia Robinson.

Robinson was deployed at Operation Joint Guardian, joint mission NATO to help Kosovo, as a pre-emptive medical specialist.
Robinson's death is still under investigation. Synthia says he was found in a lifeless chair Thursday morning before regular exercises.
He leaves behind his wife and two daughters, ages 5 and 10.
