US ambassador shows chemical element causing cancer used in Kosovo

US Ambassador to Belgrade Kyle Scott has declared today to FoNet that many experts have concluded there is no health risk in Serbia, nor anywhere else in the world where the impoverished uranium ammunition has been used. He added that this is what the World Health Organization and the Nations Programme [...] have stated.

Scott has stressed that impoverished uranium ammunition has been used exclusively in Kosovo, and less in the Bujanoc Presevo region.
We're willing to cooperate in any serious scientific research on this, while O BSH has shown that povertyed uranium does not take a serious risk to health”, Scott said, transmits Koha.net.
He has added that some Serbian scientists, epidemiologists and radiologs have done independent research and they have found no evidence that the impoverished uranium has caused health problems in Serbia.
In Belgrade, the creation of a Commission that would investigate health injuries from the use of ammunition with impoverished uranium has been initiated.
