Zvecan municipality indicted after implementing Vuciqi politics

Regarding the work of the so-called Valley of the Sun in the north, Minister of Environment and Space Planning Albena Resshiaj has said that the Ministry's Inspectorate has conducted verbal surveillance at the director of Urbanism in Zvecan, with what director has requested from this director to present technical documentation about construction in question.

According to her, the Urbanism Directorate on the Day of Inspection has not been ready to provide documentation requested by the MMPH Inspectorate, so it is ordered that the Urbanism Directorate bring the required documentation to the Ministry of Environment at the specific time.

Although Zvecan's municipality request has not been answered either, according to Minister Resitij there has been violations of the law.

The Zvecan municipality's Urbanism Directorate has not responded to the Ministry of Environment Inspectorate and Spatial Planning Command. Of all of this, what was mentioned earlier by the ministry's Inspectorate has been found that the municipality of Zvecan, as well as the Urbanisation Directorate of this municipality, are responsible for not implementing the ordinance issued by the ministry's Inspectorate, which is violating the law on environmental inspectorate, waters, space planning and construction number 04/L175, for which the initiative has been made in the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica against the municipality of Zvecan as a legal person and director of urbanisation as a responsible person. We remind you that for first and second-class objects, the municipality is competent for providing construction permits”, Resitij has said in the parliamentary debate.

The MP from the Social Democrat Initiative, Zafir Berisha, has said that for the construction of a colony called “Sun Valley”, Zvecan municipality is not offering the necessary documents to show what is happening in that section.

He even said that the MMPH indictment would be brought to court drawers because, as he said, the municipality of Zvecan implements Serbia's president's policies, Alexander Vuciq.

You've made a criminal statement, which has to be challenged in court drawers, but what concrete measures, since the second-level power organs don't cooperate, they don't work. You have the ability to take action directly. To remind them of something similar in Prizren municipality, directly the ministry in question in the past has taken action to stop duty without permission in designated areas. Do you have a plan, or do you plan concrete without the Zvecan municipality, because ultimately the Zvecan municipality implements Vuciki politics. I know this project exceeds your competencies”, Berisha has said.

She has said she understands the concern of MP Berisha and the citizens of Kosovo, but according to her, Serbia's wrong policies, especially in recent years, are directly involved in this problem as well, “The Valley of the Sun”.
