VV numbers violations of the Constitution over a decade

The Vetevendosje Movement in honour of the 10th anniversary of Constitutional Day has held a press conference.

Her MP, Sami Kurteshi, at this conference has spoken of violations of the Constitution that have been committed during this decade.

According to him, there are a host of violations that have been committed and which are harmful both to the country and Kosovo citizens.

“The costs of violating the Constitution are many and varied.

This desecrates and denies the concept of active citizenship and citizenship, but basically denies everything that a civilized society does.

-The moment of adoption of the Constitution is the first formal content violation. So, the presentation of the Constitutionary itself, not by the head of the Parliament, but by the prime minister of the time, who had apparently insisted on looking like the host of the state, was a violation of the Constitution.

Then, the appointment of state symbols is also another offense. It had to be done with a referendum of citizens who would have to choose for symbols rather than be decided by the heads of state themselves.

In this case, I will not discuss individual cases of violation of the Constitution, as they are numerous, but I will only deal with violations that have political character.

The other violation of the Constitution is in the event the platform with Serbia was approved. Then the Special Court's approval. The election of Behgjet Pacolli- president of Kosovo and Thaci as well.

Then, with the approval of the government's salary increase, the Constitution has also been violated.

Then, with the signing of the demarcation agreement, Kosovo's integrity and territory have been violated. The Special Court has seriously violated and damaged the Judiciary in Kosovo.

Also, the creation of “Zajednica” in Kosovo has been made contrary to the country's Constitution.

But on the other hand, even those responsible to protect constitutional offenses are breaking it.

We have some cases when the Constitutional Court itself has committed violations.

These violations have implications for the political system, violate the country's integrity, and endanger any potential citizen.
