EU chief in Kosovo Natalia Apostolova indicated that an EU commission will come to Kosovo next week, which will assess Kosovo's progress in meeting conditions.
The next “comes from Brussels a commission for assessing progress over the visa liberalisation issue”, EU chief Apostolova has said.
Apostolova stressed that the commission will in particular deal with meeting the condition for fighting corruption, though earlier the EU had said that Kosovo has fulfilled that condition.
Meanwhile, Minister Dona Hoxha spoke about liberalisation and integration, citing also this Commission's visit.
And that visas are also important for Government, a letter Prime Minister Haradinaj addressed to the media calling for reconciliation about the visa liberalisation agenda shows.
Otherwise, Kosovars are promised that with the ratification of the demarcation the visas would be liberalised. A date as the most real is mentioned at the end of this year.
