Turkish media demanaged gylinist's wife

Osman Karakaya was arrested in Kosovo days ago, along with five other Turkish citizens, to be deported to Turkey later, where they are accused of allegedly terrorism as members of Fethul Gylen's movement.

Turkish media, loyal to President Recep Tayip Erdogan, have published fake news about Karakayas and other gylenists over the last days. Erdoganist ports have reported how Karakaya allegedly admitted his guilt and that he has allegedly said certain media in Kosovo are paid by cleric Gylen, who lives in asylum in the United States. Karakaya's family has denied, through a public letter, Erdogan's media statements.

My husband has not yet appeared before the prosecutor to issue his statement and that so far he has not issued a single statement”, Fatma Karakaya, wife of Osman Karakayas, has said.

“Therefore all news coming from Turkish media that he allegedly admitted guilt and has agreed to co-operate with Turkish bodies are completely untrue and only intend to slander and deceive both Turkish and Kosovar”, she noted.

LAME DEMANTING SE OSMAN KARKAYA WAS PRANINE IN TRUQE

As Mr. Osman Karakaya feels necessary to react to false news coming from Turkish media operating in Kosovo and Turkey regarding my husband and in particular because the same news is being followed and published by Kosovo media, unaware that what they spread as such is completely false.

Initially, it wants to clarify for all that we are in constant contact with our lawyers in Turkey and that we have been informed by lawyers that neither my husband nor even 6 of the deported to the Turkish state have been questioned by the Turkish Prosecutor. My husband has not yet been brought before the prosecutor to issue his statement and that he has not issued a single statement so far. Therefore, all news coming from Turkish media that he has allegedly admitted guilt and has agreed to co-operate with Turkish bodies are completely untrue and is intent on only slandering and cheating both Turkish and Kosovo opinion. Since such news is being fabricated and done over and over again, I also ask Kosovo media not to allow such slanderous news to become the prey. I explain that none of the claims reflected in Turkish media that my husband has supposedly bought land from 60 hectares or that large sums of money have circulated are slander and contain no evidence to argue.

That such news is untrue is also made very clear by the content of the news itself, stressing that “from the control of computers, tablets and phone suspects have been found evidence that...”. I believe it's also clear to the entire Kosovo public the way our family was arrested for what the video records were published. How can it be claimed that our family's computers and tablets were checked when no computers were confiscated? Our family has been arrested on the street or at school and no computers have been confiscated. This makes it extremely clear that such news is fabricated and that it is unstopped news from other cases of slander. So the news refers to evidence from computers and tablets, and our family members at the moment of arrest have had no computer or tablet with themselves.

Finally, I point out that in one of the slanderous news at my husband Osman Karakaya's address, he has claimed to have financed certain media in Kosovo, such as Gazette Express, Time Ditore, Gazette Voice, Association of Journalists in Macedonia, etc. Since such news is slander and completely untrue, it requires these media so that each one of them will expose and not share such news.

Hoping that such slanderous news will not be published further at Kosovo media
