Trump with Syria, like Bush with Iraq

But, of all the tweets posted by the American president on the social network, some of the media have been stopped for the exact time at “Mission was completed”.
It is not the first time a president of the United States uses this wording to describe the success of a military operation, undertaken by American forces in recent years on missions that have not been few.
Some media have ironic the White House chief's statement by means of a photo featuring former President George W. Bush, behind which stands a banner with the inscription “Mission fulfilled!”
Unlike the lightning operation ordered by Donald Trump, Bush's mission was more complex. It was about the Iraq war and the collapse of Saddam Hussein, whom the West strongly accused of producing chemical weapons, the charge that was never confirmed on the ground.
All of this, along with claims by the Syrian side and Russia that out of the 103 launched missiles, 71 collapsed from the defence systems has prompted a series of media to question the true success of this US, British and French lightning mission.
But Donald Trump himself insists that the mission was successful and achieved its objective and that all news that puzzles this calls “false news”. Besides, Trump vows to strike Assad again if he uses chemical weapons against his people.
