The new Special Court chief prosecutor is expected to be the US prosecutor, Jack Smith.
Television Klan learns that Smith also has experience in courts outside the United States because he has served for a while in Sudan.
The US prosecutor, 48, is said to have asked for about a year to familiarise himself with the procedure and subjects the Special will deal with.
Initially it was thought that the chief prosecutor would be appointed Kwai Hong Ip in order to ensure the continuation and maintain the pace of the investigation.
But that's not what happened because Jack Smith has already been appointed the new Special Prosecutor.
