According to a media communique, Interior Minister Flamur Sefaj has admitted his resignation, in which he has also clarified the entire decision-making process in the country's last two developments.
This is the complete communique:
Minister of Internal Affairs coming from the AKR ranks Flamur Sefaj has responded to Kosovo's prime minister in his request for release of office, which was addressed several days ago and offered the irrevocable resignation from the minister's position.
In the letter of the resignation, Minister Sefaj has informed Kosovo's prime minister in detail about the process of deportation of Turkish citizens and its involvement in law enforcement in that process.
For the sake of the opinion, we suggest that Minister Sefaj has not been a decision-making factor and has only implemented the law pertaining to the request of the AKI, which under the Constitution has estimated that higher persons pose a danger to the national security of the Republic of Kosovo. As for informing the prime minister of this process, You must be legally obliged to report at the same time to the prime minister, so it should be clarified whether this happened or not.
Minister Sefaj has not been aware of what those people represent, but has only implemented the law, which is activated in cases where AKI estimates Kosovo's state security is being violated.
AKR highly esteems Mr. series on law enforcement and protection of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
Minister Sefaj, was consistently committed to the defence of the Republic and the country's Constitution, as in the case of the ban by Marko Djurovic, who went illegally into Kosovo's territory as well as many other tasks, institutionally and dignifiedly with responsibility and respect for the state, in the first place.
