Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia Agim Nuhiu has said that Macedonian special forces have continued to search for two Kosovo police officers who are allegedly carrying the Lepenc River in Macedonia, writes Periscopi. He has said he has even checked the locations where he suspected the bodies of two policemen could be found, but there has been no concrete results.
And we've been doing research in places where we've suspected the two police troops might be found today, but it hasn't resulted in anything concrete”, Nuhi told the Kosovo Clan, broadcasting Periscopi.
Nuhiu has shown that they are in constant contact with Kosovo authorities, and are being co-ordinated in the action of finding two missing police officers.
He has said the Kosovo side leads the search-saving action, and has said Macedonia is willing to assist in any form, Periscope reports.
“We are in co-ordination with colleagues from Kosovo, and we are co-ordinating the actions of finding two policemen. We've acted institutionally by engaging the special unit, which are immersed in the river, but there are other citizens who are attached in the search.
We are on the run, the Kosovo authorities lead the search, while we are always willing to help in any form to help find two police officers, Nuhiu has declared./Periscopi/
