Scientists produce plastic - eating food

Researchers have accidentally improved a natural enzyme to enhance its plastic-eating skills. The modified enzyme, which can be digested by bottled plastic, can help in the fight against pollution. Researchers from the United States and Britain have accidentally designed a plastic-eating enzyme, reports “DW” Transmission Periscope.
“We have created an improved version of a better enzyme than it is currently,” said Portsmouth University professor John McGehan.
This future project can help in the fight against plastic pollution that can stay in an environment for hundreds of years, polluting the environment.
The enzyme is called PE Tase, which was discovered in Japan a few years ago when scientists found a bacteria ruining plastic.
Japanese researchers believe that the Ideonella sacaiensis é that evolved to a recycling center that had begun the recycling process in 1940.
The Sacaienside is fed exclusively through the plastic and PET, widely used in bottles. /Periscopi/
