The last days of November 2012 were full of developments on Albanian soils.
It was marked Albania's 100th anniversary of independence, and was acquitted of war crimes charges by The Hague tribunal now Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
At this time, Fatmir Limaj was in custody for the case of Kleckakaı, and on November 28th the Supreme Court had decided in favour of this measure, KTV reports.
On that same day, on YouTube, the account I was able to report the first 5 videos were published, and one of them had the name synonymous with scandal, the conversation between Adem Grabovci and President Hashim Thaci.
The scandal, aired for the first time on November 29th on KTV, which had reached international media as well, had shaken the political scene in the country, was originally denied by the government, which, a few days later, had adopted a bill regulating wiretapping.
EULEX prosecutor, who had then been spying on Deputy Prime Minister Adam Grabovci, in the context of the MTP, did not seem important to the conversation and, therefore, had not resulted in any indictment.
The case had been silent until 2016, with new recordings published on the “portal. Inside”.
In early August of that year, another recording of the emblems was published at this portal, the one between Grabovci and Bahri Hysen, who had no idea what the chief was talking about.
After public pressure, chief prosecutor Alexander Lumez had been declared that same day in connection with wiretapping.
A month later, Grabovci was interviewed by the Special Prosecutor.
Meanwhile, Kohavision, last year, brought to light another side of the series “Proto”, which was also applied to Chief Prosecutor Lumez himself.
Beqaj's Grabovci had co-ordinated the meeting with Lumez, aimed at membership in the PDK, and Kadri Veselin and Hashim Thaci speak of it.
The chief prosecutor, just days after the “Files Lumezi”, had denied that he had ever intended to join a party and that reporting had called it fiction.
The institution, which he is leading, finally managed to file charges for 11 people in this case, including PDK ministers and deputies.
The Act on Minister Besim Beqaj brings the number of ministers facing justice to 3 after Pal Lekatt and Valdrin Luka.
Instead of resigning, Beqaj, in his reaction, denied ever having committed legal violations until he offered to argue his political and legal actions.
While the former head of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Grabovci, considered the indictment unjust to him.
Criminal work “The violation of equal status of citizens and residents of the Republic of Kosovo in co-ordination”, with the Criminal Code, is punishable by 6 months to 5 years in prison.
