Rexhep Selimi has been deeply affected by Haradinaj's accusations, Thaci answers

Former Kosovo Liberation Army commander, now deputy from the ranks of the Vetevendosje Movement, Rexhep Selimi has again countered the accusations of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, writes Periscopi. Selimi has said no one believes Prime Minister Haradinaj's statement that he has not been in Kosovo. [...]

Selimi has said no one believes Prime Minister Haradinaj's statement that he has not been in Kosovo during wartime.

He announced that much of Haradinaj's words were affected, as he had not expected such a reaction from him.

In Info Magazine of Kosovo, Selimi said he did not understand what Haradinaj was talking about, when he said he had never walked in after the war.

It doesn't last with me, they just said that I am in Kosovo during wartime. Neither does their family circle. I don't understand what he said. He didn't get any blood. During the war, we walked through the slaughter, but I didn't understand this after the war. His goodness has made me very upset. We haven't met from that case, nor do I ask for an explanation. I can't consider it the same after that vocabulary. I will respond in an appropriate way”, Selimi said.

He even laughed when asked about his presence in the first public appearance of the KLA in Lausha.

The “has not happened on the line, but on the 15th floor. It's about that moment that was on the 15th floor in Tirana”, Selimi added, who hoped he was not being overly ironic.

He also countered President Hashim Thaci's words, which days earlier at a media conference, said Prime Minister Haradinaj has spared MP Selimi on charges.

Thaci wanted him to continue. He would like this debate to be deeper. Not debate, but conflict. I wasn't touched by what I expected, but I was touched by what I didn't expect. I don't have to act nervously, that what I said was incredible for him to address me with such an accusation that we were not in Kosovo during wartime. I was in Kosovo, not Albania. If I were in Albania and Tirana, what would that tell me? I could have been in Tirana. They came from Tirana, killed in the war. We shouldn't give him the negative context if anyone has been to Tirana. And if someone's gone there, then that's a different case”, Selimi concluded.

Weeks earlier in the Assembly had a fair debate occurred between Prime Minister Haradinaj and MP Selimi, both former KLA commanders.

It was Selimi, who accused Haradinaj of selling land, for little power.

Hard in his response had been the prime minister, who called him Mr. Selimin, for whom he said that during wartime he has stayed in Tirana and that he has not walked a single time./Periscopi
