That gym is one of the best methods of keeping the body in shape and preventing obesity was known.
But these are not the only benefits. Exercise also gives us considerable help to heal headaches.
That is the conclusion reached after a study by the Sahlgrenska Academy in Sweden.
Our conclusion is that bodily exercise can act as an alternative to relaxing exercise or medication when it comes to preventing migraine,” says study group leader Emma Varkey, from the Sahlgrenska Academy.
According to researchers, exercise often works even better than medicine, which in most cases has side effects.
The study featured 91 migraine patients. A third of them have been exercised 40 minutes from three times a week under surveillance, one-third have performed relaxing exercises, while one-third has taken the medication.
The results have shown how the number of migraines has fallen to all three groups almost equally, showing that it is good to avoid medication until the gym has the same effect.
