MP NISMA: Opposition does not have numbers for government collapse

Parties in the ruling coalition do not intend to tear down Ramush Haradinaj's government. This response by MP from the ranks of the Social Democrat Initiative, Haxhi Shala, comes as an entity to the declaration of Deputy Alternative Mimoza Kusari-Lila. The latter had said the PDK or the Initiative itself would oust Haradinaj from the prime minister's post. [...]
In a response to Indexline, Shala has said they do not intend any of the parties in the coalition to take such a step.
According to him, the opposition itself does not have the numbers to tear down the government, so they now do mathematics and create baseless theories.
“However, it is a theory of someone in opposition, but there is no question about the collapse of the Government by these two political subjects. They can, they can, but they don't. It's just the opposition theory because they don't have numbers either and try to form a theory. They're in the opposition and they should see if they're willing to go to the elections, if they're willing to leave government space to work. But if they are willing to go to the elections and have the numbers, let them act and let them tear it down. But they don't have numbers and they're doing math”, he said.
On the other hand, Shala has said the coalition is continuing the works, though in Parliament they have difficulty because of numbers.
The deputy initiative has commented on the election theme, saying none of the parties claiming power are able to face the issues awaiting Kosovo this year.
There is no rift so far within this coalition. Jobs continue... we have few difficulties in Parliament because of the numbers we have in our absence, but institutions work. I think it's not the time for elections because the country is expecting some of the challenges that opposition parties or parties that claim to take power are not willing to face these domestic challenges that await them this year. But neither is the country willing to go to elections at this time”, he said of Indexline.
Otherwise, the year 2018 is expected to be defined for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which is expected to enter the final phase. On the other hand, Kosovo is expected to form the Association of Serbian municipalities for which the Managerial Team for the creation of the AKS statute. Similarly, the state is expected to be done with the Army, since the Kosovo Security Force will be transformed into the Armed Forces of Kosovo.
Epilogue is also expected to be given the issue of visa liberalisation. Kosovo's Parliament on March 21st has ratified agreement on border demarcation with Montenegro as key condition for liberalisation
