NASA sends bull and human sperm into space to study reproduction

NASA has sent a bottle of frozen bull and human sperm to the International Space Station (ISS) as part of a study to see if there can be a species in zero gravity conditions. The frozen supplies for the experiment, called Micro-11, were taken to the ISS in the SpaceX Dragon capsule. Astronauts will melt frozen material and use chemical samples by operating a unique chemical invention, reports “RT” Transmission Periscope.
The sperm movement will be monitored and filmed when it swims towards the egg. After that, samples will be mixed with condoms to return to land where the experiment is considered finished.
“Based on previous experiments, it seems that the lack of gravity facilitates the movement of sperm,” said Fethi Karrowia, scientist and leader of NASA's Micro-11 project. “This is in line with other investigations into organisms of various models that have shown that microgravity conditions cause rapid regeneration of cells. ”/Periscopi/
