Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Diaspare Dardan Gashi, who is being investigated by Kosovo Police and the State Prosecutor for Gunshots, has complained today of the EU's poor results for the rule of law situation in Kosovo.

Gashi, along with Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj, is participating in conference work “10th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Austria and Kosovo”, criticised the EU's work in Kosovo.

“As far as rule of law is concerned, we are willing to move forward, but the EU must be honest is equally responsible for the rule of law situation in Kosovo with the almost existing results, even despite the 900m euros spent on it. EULEX” has stated Gashi, the Kosovo Government's statement reports.

Gashi has criticised the European Union for the criteria set against Kosovo, in terms of visa liberalisation. He has said that Kosovo has been given additional conditions that have again been met by Kosovo.

We have been promised European prospects since 1999, but we are the only state left out of the visa liberalisation process even though we have been given additional conditions from all other countries, which still conditions we have met”, Gashi said, ordering that the EU in the future be creative in terms of European integration of Western Balkan countries.

Dardan Gashi is being investigated for firing guns in closed environments. Gashi and some state officials had become together in an effort to celebrate Fatmir Limaj's innocence.

It was seen in the video that Sami Lushtaku, Dardan Gashi, and the other one acquitted Andrew Shala, shooting guns without control, only opening the umbrella windows celebrating Limaj's release.
