Four American marines are believed to have died after a helicopter crashed in southern California.
The CH-53E Marine helicopter from the 3rd Avian Marine Ship (3 MAË) crashed near El Centro at the local hour Tuesday, 2.35pm (10.35) in the United Kingdom.
Through a statement, the Marine Corps said the entire team in the helicopter died.
An investigation is under way about the causes of the crash, reports “Sky News”, report Persycope.
In a statement, from the Wing 3 Sea Avians said it would wait 24 hours after families are informed before the victims' names are published in the media.
The Lockheed Martin factory said the helicopter was designed to carry heavy objects, such as military equipment.
