By LDK say political unity is needed for new elections

It is still unknown whether other parties have responded to the LDK for the invitation it has made regarding a joint table and co-ordination for important topics before Kosovo goes to early elections.

Although the invitation was public, LDK deputy Arben Gashi says there was no official invitation to other subjects.

However, he has made it known that he sees political activists working together to get out of the situation where the country is located, as calm will be broken.

There was no special invitation. There's a temporary calm in the country, which can be broken if there's political tension. Taking into account that we are in a unclear phase regarding the coalition and the events expected to occur, especially with the Progress Report that has been published and other issues. I think we're in delicate stages for the country that requires leadership and cooperation. This also requires awareness of political acts”, he said.

If the country goes to the polls, Gashi says the LDK is ready to enter the power race. Until he has clarified that law enforcement, the LDK does not need internal elections.

“The LDK does not need domestic elections practically and legally, because it has a mandate until mid-year coming, so the LDK is ready as any other serious party, should be ready for elections, so I think that under these circumstances, it should be ready for elections”, he stressed.

While in the end, MP Arben Gashi has also responded to the LDK's request for the departure of ministers who have the indictment. In the question of whether the same demand will be applied to the mayors, whether Istog Chairman Haki Rugova, who comes from the LDK ranks, Gashi has said he should take into account the presumption of innocence.
