LVV representatives were hosted today at the meeting by Euro-Deputet Tonino Picaula, who heads the European Parliament's (PE) delegation of relations with Kosovo, and eurodeputti Igor Soltes, the Kosovo Rapporteur for the EP.
In these meetings, VV representatives raised concerns about the ultimatum given by Belgrade through parallel structures in Kosovo for the unilateral establishment of “Zajednica”, as well as the need to assess the dialogue developed to date with Serbia and to establish an agenda of forms with clear objectives and principles regarding dialogue. Chairman Kurti also stressed the necessity to hold the debate on dialogue first in the Republic Assembly, instead of assigning secret Thaci-Wuchic meetings unauthorised by the Parliament.
On the eve of publishing the Progress Report for Kosovo was also discussed on the road to European integration and visa liberalisation, the socioeconomic situation, as well as the fight against corruption and organised crime, where the Movement has provided evidence that it has both the will, knowledge, determination and alternative to build in Kosovo both the rule of law and the development.
