The chairman of the court, Becir Kaluldra, has declared that if KEK's director, Arben Djukaj, does not appear at tomorrow's session, the court will appoint him the detention measure. This statement, Judge Kaluldra has given at Thursday's hearing in the trial of the case known as “KEK 2”, against former Skywright leader Sami Lushtaku, KEK director Arben Djukaj, former head of the Procuration Organisation (OSHP), Hysni Hoxha, as well as four other indictees, over the six million tender at KEK.

Warning of the appointment of this move, Judge Kaluldra has issued it after the accused Djukaj has missed the session, which was scheduled to be held Thursday at the Foundation Court in Pristina.

Judge Kaluldra stated that Djukaj's lawyer, Rame Gashi, has handed over to a parapet on Thursday, through which he has justified his ostracism, in the fact that he has travelled to Turkey because his father is in serious health.

Lawyer Gashi, said last night he was informed Djukaj is in Turkey because his parent is in serious health condition and is being treated.

According to Kalulder, his absence is treated as unreasonable because the same is found in Turkey as of April 8th, while the court's announcement one day before the hearing for his absence presents disrespect for the state and court.

But, lawyer Gashi, said he cannot guarantee that his client will appear in court tomorrow, but said he will contact him.

Djukat's defender also said his client has no inclination to evade justice.

Initially, Judge Kaluldra, wanted the detention measure, Arben Gjukatet appoints today, but later declared that if the same one did not appear at the courthouse tomorrow, the court would issue a decision to appoint the detention measure.

Following statements by Judge Kaluldra, Driton Pruth's defence attorney, Bajram Tmava has been addressed to the tribunal, asking whether the detention decision at Thursday's session is urgent, and has demanded that the same one be allowed until Friday's session.

According to Tmava, Djukaj for the first time at Thursday's hearing has missed trial, as well as according to him, he has always been regular and was presented 15 minutes earlier at the courtroom before the start of the hearings.

I think the reasoning is given, he says he has a sick father. This is the first time it hasn't come, but I find it urgent to have the detention assigned to”, Tmava said.

The next session is expected to be held on April 13th, beginning at 09:30.

In case known as the “case KEK 2”, investigations were launched on October 5, 2012, meanwhile, the indictment was filed on January 16, 2015.

According to the indictment, the tender of the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) already includes former Skyright Chairman Sami Lushtaku, KEK director Arben Djukaj and five other indictees.

The seven defendants are charged with tendering millions for physical security of KEK's facilities. In this trial process, Sami Lushtaku is charged with using the criminal work “for misuse of official office or authorisation <x4x1>, Arben Djukkaj and Hysni Hoxha, accused of “misusing official position or authorization”, Esat Tahiri and Milazizim Lushtaku in co-ordination charges of “and” and <6>al> excusing documents, Dritton Prustin “distorting the official position or authorisation directory> and”

During the March 2012 period until December 2012, the prosecution claims that the illegal conduct of the high-ranking defendants resulted in the contract being awarded to the security company “Security Code”, which has offered as part of the consortium with company “WDG” The contract was in question for the period of two years, in many of 6, 182, 609.76 euros, which is allegedly damaged by KEK. /Justice Trust/
