Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church (KOS ) Irinej has estimated that for Serbia the biggest problem about Kosovo is the fact that few Serbs remain there
The one in the Patriarchate of Peja, where she has led the liturgy with which the Serbian Orthodox Church's regular Spring Assembly began, as N1 reports, has said that Kosovo has long been occupied and that more must work on the return of Serbs to Kosovo.
“In Prizren have several dozen Serbs, so is Pristina, Peja, Ferizaj, Gjakova... There is little desire among the displaced to return their homes, and those who want to return have nowhere, because their homes and properties have been destroyed and usurped. Now the most important is the attitude and life of those left in Kosovo”, Irinej has said.
Stressing that keeping the KOS Assembly in the Pec patriarchate is a great encouragement to the Kosovo Serb people, he has invited the Archbishop to harmony.
The post-Peja Assembly continues with work in Belgrade's Patriot.
