Hoxhaj in Vienna talks about Kosovo visas, army

Republika Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj is standing in Vienna on official visit. In the agenda of meetings with heads of institutions, Hoxhaj has had discussions on visa liberalisation for Kosovo, the European perspective and increased Austria's investments in Kosovo.
As the communiquata from the prime minister's office reports, in separate meetings with Austrian chief parliament, Wolfgang Sobotka, and Austrian Minister for Europe Gernot Blümel, Hoxhaj has raised the topic of visa liberalisation as a priority of great importance for the Government of Kosovo, adding that Austria's role in the process is extremely important.
“Another key topic discussed at these meetings is also the organisation of a major Kosovo and Austria economic forum, which will serve to deepen economic co-operation between the two countries, and in particular implies new investments for Kosovo”, the communiqué says.
Hoxhaj has also attended the conference for marking the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kosovo and Austria.
At this conference, Hoxhaj has talked about closing Kosovo's statehood and completing sovereignty through full membership in the UN. Also, for the formation of the Kosovo Army, which he described as of strategic importance not only for Kosovo but also for security and stability in the region.
