Haradinaj convinced that this year there will be visa liberalisation

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has declared that he believes that by the end of this year Kosovo gains the right to visa liberalisation, as well as believes that by the end of the year the country could be a applicant for EU candidate status. The head of government made these comments during the “Decade [...] conference.
The head of government made these comments during the upcoming Kosovo “Decade: The advancement of Reform, Regional Co-operation and EU Integration”, organised by the Group for Documentation and Exploration.
Haradinaj said it is difficult to talk about Kosovo's next 10 years, but that he points out it is clear the country's Euro-Atlantic definition, as EU integration is aimed and want the country to meet the NATO alliance.
“Po at the end of this year I believe Kosovo gains a right that is visa liberalisation, I believe at the end of this year, at the beginning of next year we can be applicant for EU candidate status. By the end of this year, major advancements can occur in reaching an agreement with Serbia, so they can happen. At the same time, other processes would be of a different dimension because if this deal were reached that is very challenging, I believe, challenging not because of compromises, but challenging because it requires mobilization of all. I don't know if Washington is still Washington, Brussels set this to happen in time. Then Kosovo's perspective would be common, and we would meet the common world like all other countries where we would always be measuring reforms in line with the membership process at Be”, the prime minister said.
Haradinaj has also spoken about how problems can be overcome in the context of Kosovo's deployment in the European regional agenda, where he has declared that the EU is not so committed to its approach to this part of Europe.
“The EU is not so committed to its approach to this part of Europe, The EU moves towards the weight of importance and has actually given Serbia much more weight, more importantly, even because of the animation Serbia made towards Russia, but for other reasons. There is some lack of will for the rest, so it was once Serbia-Montenegro, I think they have in some way what the Bulgarian prime minister said if a country without EU access is a danger to the EU and that it is worth it. Like the chain that is stronger in its weakest link, so the EU is strong as its weakest link is strong. And we think that the EU's weakest link is exactly the Western Balkans, the 6th in this case is unfortunately around us, around our country in Kosovo. I hope that this becomes clear in the upcoming stages, a major contribution to clarification and we also give it by doing housework”, Haradinaj said.
Otherwise, Kosovo's next <x0 conference: The advance of the Reformation, Regional Co-operation and EU Integration” began as early as the morning, where the country's president Hashim Thaci, the head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, Norway's ambassador to Kosovo, Per Strand Sjastad, and many others.
