Remembering that the Law on Air Protection strictly prohibits burning tires and providing fines of 100 euros, MMPH stresses that lighting fires and, in particular, tires are actions that will be punished.
The activity of open-air tires frees dioxin and other dangerous substances that cause serious health problems, such as respiratory organs, lung cancer, damages the skin by causing many other health problems”, the communiques say.
Moreover, MMPH warns that lighting such fires, carries with it major consequences for the environment, and lighting fire without control has put people's lives and health at risk, private and social wealth, and has degraded the environment, as well as in poor condition.
