A German court dismissed “rebeling” as the reason to extradite former Catalonia Freedom Charles Puigdemont, and ordered his parole.
The court in the town of Schlesvinh-Holstein said he could still face charges of corruption in Spain and that he has suspended his extradition, but has not ruled it out.
Puigdemont has been arrested in Germany last month, as Spain has issued European arrest warrants for him.
Spain has accused Catalan separatists of the independence referendum held in October.
