German police: The driver after the attack killed himself

At least three people have died, while dozens more have been injured after a car hit the crowd in the German town of Muenster, German media reported.

The police said the driver killed himself.

“The driver has killed himself”, a German police spokesman has said, adding that about 30 people have been injured in the incident.

Local police have written on Twitter that police officials have appeared at the scene and have called on citizens to avoid downtown, so that emergency vehicles and teams can come to the aid of the injured.

According to the online edition of Spiegel magazine, German authorities “suspect” that this incident is an attack, but authorities have not yet confirmed that.

Meanwhile, Bild has reported that three people have lost their lives in this incident.
