However, among the many points laid out in this report, the European Commission has also tabled a less common requirement for the Kosovo government. They have demanded that Kosovo build a fish inventory in the country.
Kosovo is in an early phase of rising the level in the fishing field. No progress has been made. In the coming year, Kosovo must: ʹ further harmonise its market policy according to EU laws; ʹ create an inventory of fish species in Kosovo”, said at 6.19. Kosovo Progress Report.
Also, the Progress Report says that Kosovo has made good progress and is in early stages of developing a functional economic market.
The business environment has advanced and the government has maintained fiscal rules on the budget deficit; however, the benefits of war veterans continue to pose a challenge to public finances. The informal economy remains widespread”, the report says, Insader.
The increase in labor force participation rates has not been matched by employment profits, so the unemployment rate has increased further. This has particularly affected unqualified women, youth and workers, the report suggests.
