The presidency of the Council and representatives of the European Parliament reached an agreement on the European Information System and Authorisation of Travel (ETIAS) proposal.
Today's “Agreement is another important step in protecting EU external borders.
Knowing who comes to the EU before coming to the border, we will be better able to stop those who pose danger to our citizens”, Bulgarian Interior Minister Valentin Radev said, RTV21 reported.
ET The IAS will allow preliminary controls and if necessary to prevent travel authorisation for people of third countries from travelling to the Schengen zone.
