Danger for Ramush Haradinaj in case he goes to Presevo

Threats by the state of Serbia that if Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj visits the Presevo Valley will be arrested by Serbian authorities, they must be taken seriously.

That's what the famous lawyer, Tome Gashi, said.

Gashi has shown the entire situation according to the circumstances of judicial matters. According to him, Serbia could arrest the government chief, as for this latter, Serbs have issued arrest warrants against him.

Serbia could absolutely arrest Mr. Ramush Haradinaj in each part of Serbia's territory, and he knows it best. I don't believe that in a future Mr. Ramush Haradinaj can go to Serbia's territory because he is wanted in Serbia and Serbia has issued arrest warrants against him many years ago”, Gashi has indicated to Indescline.

On the other hand, he has warned Haradinaj not to go to Presevo, because the same could have consequences.

“Haradinaj, but other state officials wanted by Serbia by the indictment can always be arrested. I believe that the idea of his going to Presevo is a matter of his wishes, but he won't do it because he knows exactly what consequences can be expected by the lawyer.

We remember that Haradinaj was imprisoned in France during the past year and that he stayed there for four months until his non-execution by the French state was completed.

Gashi has all in the end said the arrests could occur every time until Serbia recognises Kosovo as an independent state and after that there will be agreement to drop political charges against Kosovo citizens.
