Will the new chief of AKI be any Thaci or Haradinaj's favourite?

Driton Gashi, the outgoing chief of AKI, has been one of the persons spoken as a man close to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci. Following the Kosovo Egyptian deportation to Turkey, the name of the AKI chief has become a silent struggle between the president and the prime minister.

Media have reported that Haradinaj prefers Latif Merovci as the new chief of AKI, once deputy chief of the institution's preliminary office. However, the prime minister's chief of staff has denied that the prime minister's office has submitted the name of Latif Merovci for the post.

Many names and many proposals have been mentioned, but an official proposal for the person in question, Krey Prime Minister, has not, says Arifi for Express.

Other possible names for positions at the top of intelligent service have been mentioned during the week. T7 had reported that it was nominated by the Prime Minister for Deputy Director of this institution is Burim Ramadani, currently deputy prime minister of the KSF.

However, that was what the internationals had opposed. They have rejected this Haradinaj proposal with the argument that they do not want political names to be brought back to the top of this institutions.
