Cancer is the most frequent disease caused by death in America, followed by heart disease.
Some forms of cancer cannot be affected, since mutations that cause them are found in our DNA, while others can cause things we are exposed to, such as food we eat and some bad habits.
Although scientists often disagree over the issues of who causes cancer, they agree about certain other things, the Kosovo Press broadcasts.
Sugar
New studies show that sugar affects tumor development, since tumor cells use sugar as fuel.
The processed food industry
French scientists have confirmed the link between consumption of processed food and tumor development. However, they are not sure who is guilty in this case -- the competitors, plastic package, both together or something third -- broadcasts Kosovas.
Smoking
Although the tobacco industry has been trying to hide this relationship, it has been known for years that 70 chemicals can cause cancer in tobacco smoke. Not only smokers are at risk, but everyone exposed to this smoke. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has found that non-smokingrs exposed to tobacco smoke will have more than 30 percent chance of cancer.
Solarium and Sun exposure
The Skin Cancer Prevention Agency has announced that people who visit radiation salons by the age of 35 have 75% more chances of skin cancer. This can harm you even if you are radiant in the sun without a protective cream.
Oil in open fire
Despite its flavor, the beef contains such components as heterocicic acids and fragrant police hydrocarbons. The meat prepared in open fire or in high temperatures releases liquids and oils that fuel fire and turn into dangerous chemicals that then turn to the meat we eat. Scientists are not sure if they actually cause cancer, but laboratory tests have shown that they cause damage to cancer.
Alcohol
