Thursday morning (26 April), she found she is facing a domestic deportation issue due to lack of documents. Upon learning this news, Cile Precetaj was taken to the hospital in a state of anxiety.
She thought she had a heart attack and remained in the hospital for 2-3 hours“, says her husband.
Precetaj has faced such a situation even in 2013 to be deported to Albania, but an executive order in 2014 enabled her to stay. Her family and lawyer say that Cile Precetaj has tried to become a legitimate citizen in the United States. They stress that she has committed no crime in the country since she went to the U.S. without documents.
If we collect all the money we've spent with the lawyer, it's a quarter of a million, and everyone promises me they'll solve it. I'm here with three crying children and a crying mother. Authorities say she violated the law. She came here illegally and exceeded her stay in the country. Okay, but I think a big law is being violated by sharing a family of”, says Peter Gojcevic, the husband of Cile Precetaj.
