During yesterday many Presevo residents were alarmed by the presence of Serbia's fighter aircraft, which chose to fly over this border area with Kosovo.
Otherwise there was precisely KFOR, the Kosovo Force of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) that reacted, saying it was not about any threat from Serbia, adding that Serbian military aircraft made maneuvers.
Furthermore, it has been clarified that Serbian military authorities have been claiming to have been doing a Tactical maneuver exercise -- "Sadajetvo 2018" scheduled for today.
Serbian media have already announced today that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq will participate today on the Day of High Officials in the NCSadaestitvo 2018 exercises.
The exercises in question are reported to be held at noon in a meadow area known as the Pasuljanske.
KFOR has also said yesterday that it is taking appropriate checks concerning the case.
“KFOR is monitoring the situation and invites the population to be calm because there are no threats. Serbian military authorities have stated that they have been conducting an exercise for tactical maneuvers {Sadavetvo 2108) scheduled for tomorrow”, the announcement said further.
Warrior jets were seen over the heads of Albanians in Presevo a day after Marko Djuric's arrest by Kosovo authorities.
