Vlora Citaku: Trump asked if we were Muslims

Kosovo's ambassador to the US, Vlora Citaku, had a casual meeting with US President Donald Trump, with whom she spoke about Kosovo.

In an interview on Kosovo's life show, Citaku confessed to his short conversation with Trump.

In the first meeting that wasn't an appointment, I've been waiting for him. I said good evening to Mr. President. President, I am the most pro-American ambassador to the world. And he said, "What was that place like? I told Kosovo”, Citaku said.

She also indicated that she had confessed to the American president about Kosovars' response to the US terrorist attacks.

Are you Muslim? I told him that yes, we're mostly Muslim, but we have Christians, we have Orthodox and above all, we appreciate the alliance with the American people and I showed them how we reacted after the 9/11 attacks. I told him I saw a sea of people, young men who wanted to go to war, to protect America”, Chitaku told us.
