What is the value if we know “why are we here”?
HAWKING
The universe is governed by science. But science teaches us that we cannot solve equations, directly from abstractity. We need to use the effective theory of Darwin's nature selection of those societies that are most likely to survive. We give them high value.

Is our existence all of a sudden?
HAWKING
Science predicts that many different kinds of universes will be spontaneously produced by nothing. It's a matter of luck, of chance we're here.
INT ERVIESTER
We're here, what do we do?
HAWKING
We must seek the highest value of our actions.

You had health problems and spent your time in the hospital in 2009. What was she afraid of about death?
HAWKING
I've lived with death in front of me for the last 49 years. I'm not afraid of death, but I'm not in a hurry to die. I have a lot of things I want to do first. I perceive the brain as a computer that will stop working when its components stop working. There is no paradise and life after death for broken computers; it's a fairy tale for people who fear the dark.
INT ERVIESTER
What are the most beautiful things in science?
HAWKING
Science is beautiful when it makes simplified explanations of phenomena or connections between various observations. Including double spirals in biology, and fundamental equations in physics. ”
