Shpend Ahmeti gives a Facebook announcement but citizens ask for something else

Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has posted on Facebook the announcement of gratitude the municipality has shared for education veterans.

Ahmeti has posted the announcement a day after resigning from all positions in Vetevendosje Movement.

This is his announcement:

7 Mars Day of Teachers

The Pristina Ministry Education Directorate, in honour of March 7th Teacher's Day and marking the 131st anniversary of the opening of the first Albanian teacher, organised the cultural-artistic programme in honour of this historic day of Albanian education, which opened the doors of wisdom for the Albanian nation.

March 7th, Teacher's Day, is marked as an event of political and cultural importance in the history of Albanian national education. So on this day we all remember and honor our first teachers to teach us Albanian letters, who taught us how to love and respect our country.

For their precious contribution to the education and education of generations and the keeping alive of Albanian language, culture and education, the Education Directorate shared gratitude for education veterans aged 79 to 84:

In gratitude, the directors of educational and educational institutions were also honoured for the outstanding work they are showing in running and managing educational institutions, such as: Sadifette River, IP Director “And I am going to”, Isak Bregaj, director at SFMU “Dania”, and Beke Mulaj, director at SML “Abdyl Frasher.

Also rewarded were distinguished teachers of each level of pregraduate education for contributing to the education and education of new generations like: Nashide Hoxha, tutor on IP “Our Guam “, Ilmie Dumani, teacher at the school “Dania”, Shaip Hasan, teacher at the “Eqrem Cabe” school, Kevser Carkicii, teacher at the school “Elena Gjika” and was honoured Diver Kryiu, for contributions to cultivation and promotion of cultural values.
