Belgrade's media reported that the United States is preparing a new diplomatic offensive for Kosovo, the so-called Kosovo Pako, which proposes broad executive competencies.
Novost says America has a four-point plan for Kosovo-Serbia reports.
According to their sources, America is dissatisfied with Brussels, and the way they are monitoring dialogue between the two countries.
The US document would enable Kosovo membership in international organisations, while Kosovo would form association, broadcast news.net.
This plan can reportedly be given to Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq on Wednesday during US Assistant Secretary Wes Mitchell's visit.
If Belgrade rejects Washington's plan, it is reported that Serbia will be denied access to the EU and lose the direct investment of EU countries.
Political analyst Dragomir Angjelkovic has said of '%Sputnik) that if this plan really exists, then it is an attempt to chapter Serbia.
“This modifys Ahtisaari's plan, where we will take less and give more, that would be incomprehensible”, it is expressed.
Anjelkovic has stressed that the West was stronger than it was now 13 years ago, alluding to Serbia's need not be afraid.
In 2005 and 2006 America was much stronger militarily and economically than it is today, and now Russia militarily and politically stands on the same level as the US, while on the other side China has exceeded the American economy. So, by the time the West has dominated, we haven't accepted it, it would be unreasonable now that their power is weakening to accept”.
According to him, the question is whether the European Union will survive by adding that if it continues to be what it was 20 years ago it would be unreasonable for Serbia to give up their national interests.
“I think Vuciq will oppose this because it has been said repeatedly that mutual compromise is only acceptable and that is not compromise. I'm also convinced that we have Russia's support and in this case. If this is really a project from America then we have to go for stronger support from Beijing and Moscow, and send European countries his view that if this is a condition for Euro-integration then we have no reason to continue this way”, Angjelkov has said.
Analyst has ended up saying that this package of US would open a new front in Serbia, but would be on the front with the Russians as it has expressed confidence that Russia would support Serbia.
Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, Kosovo Office Director Marko Djuric and other Serbian officials reacted to the American press.
