The National Public Health Institute has found that the decline in seasonal flu cases is below the epidemic threshold.
The National Institute of Public Health during the permanent monitoring of infectious diseases in Kosovo, through the monitoring system of the epidemiological situation in today's summary report, has found a decline in seasonal flu cases below the epidemic threshold.
According to a report from this institute, between October 1st and March 16th of this year, 54,917 suspicious cases of the flu, 4955 cases of Accus Respiratory Infection, and 102 SARI cases (Aprust Respiratory Disease).
“During the tenth week of 2018, 2458 suspected cases of the flu, 230 cases of Accus Respiratory Influence and 10 SAR cases were reported in the report of the National Institute for Public Health.
The epidemic of seasonal flu has a sharp decline in intensity and is halved into intensity, marking a constant decline.
The National Institute still recommends that citizens take care of themselves and stay out of the cold environment (especially in the following week), not to stay in closed areas with the wide density of people, and to use as many hot fluids and vitamins as possible.
The institute has recommended that all those who feel sick be introduced to the family doctor as early as possible to prevent complications.
