Scientists have discovered 20 genes linked to being transgenders by supporting claims that this situation has a physical basis, reports dailymail, Periscope.
Researchers believe that gene variations may contribute to the identifying of specific people with the opposite sex.
Critics of transgirial identity say that conditions are just in mind, and that transgender people have more psychological than medical problems. But by pointing out genetic mutations that affect brain developments, recent findings show that transgiar identity has a physical basis.
American researchers have tested 14 female-made male and 16 male-born patients in gender-changing clinics.
Presenting research at the Society's Conference on Reproductive Investment, they said: “We have identified genetic variations in 20 genes that can play a role in transgiar identity. The most promising of these involves gene variations involving neurological development and sex hormones. ”
