The former Russian ambassador to Britain in the 1990s has told Euronews that there are already real fears of a military clash between the West and his country, Periscope follows.
The comment comes after a wave of expulsions by Russian diplomats from Western states in protest against the attack on former Russian spy in Britain.
All these years the possibility of a military conflict was considered absolutely unthinkable, but fear is now real because the situation is tense,” said Anatoly Adamsin.
He further said Russia would react very sharply and that the situation will deteriorate further.
