The Syrian government has gradually begun taking over the entire area of eastern Guta.
The first initiative around the town of Harastas, civilians were handed over by rebels Thursday, with the next evacuation starting Friday, reports “DW” Transmission Periscope.
Syria's state media have reported on Saturday that approximately 7 000 fighters, with their family and other civilians leaving their cities as Zamanka, Arbini, Jobari, and eastern Guta.
Evacuation is the result of the deal reached between Russia, the Syrian military and Islamist groups like Faylaq al-Rahman, which operate in the area.
The Syrian Army and its Russian allies already control about 90% of eastern Gutas.
The city of Doumas was also part of the evacuation of civilians.
Russia and the Syrian army are operating in this area in a seven-year civil war that has been condemned by the international community.
Locals and human rights groups have accused the Syrian government of dropping and using chlorine gas bombs.
The United Nations has estimated that some 400,000 people live in eastern Gutan.
