Speaking on state television, addressing Russian elite politics, he displayed through an international missile-instantiationist video missile, navigation missiles and other weapons that he said Russia had developed as a result of the US leaving the anti-balitistic treaty of missiles signed with the Soviet Union in 1972, reports the “The Guardian”, Periscope broadcast.
“You did not hear our country then,” said Putin in a speech, where he declared some of the weapons are ready to be tested. “Listen to us now. ”
The remarks came during a speech on economic promises to the Russian people and opposition to the US in a widely seen presentation as Putin's first speech for Russian presidential elections to be held on March 18th this year.
