Citizens are determined not to withdraw from protests against the nation's road.
They are gathered today near the cabin where the payments are made for this route.
They've clashed with the police, while they've served their siege, going up to the scope of payments they've set on fire.
There have also been three injured by the protesters from their clash. “We left for peaceful protest, but provoked”, residents said.
The police exercised violence, so we arrived at this degree that we were in peaceful protest, used rubber sticks, and left work, finished everything. We have been greatly provoked, until the people began gathering with rubber sticks”, another frustrated protester said.
No isolation. We're not leaving here until the decision is made to pay the tax. We took the initiative to stand up for this protest. Here we are gathered without political distinction. This is a fair and vital request”, the protesters said.
“Until death”, protesters have indicated they will continue the protest. They've been looking for representatives of the Transport Ministry there to hear their complaints.
Any who cross the nation's path will pay between 5 euros and 44 euros. The introduction of this tax has caused great frustration in both Kosovo and our decision, saying that the payment is too high.
