Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has turned to the Serbian nation at a press conference regarding the Kosovo problem, demanding that the solution be a compromise, to protect the interests, not Serbia's myths.

He, speaking of the demographic problem, has said that his country needs to make more progress to survive as a nation and called for eternal peace.

Education for the nation began on charges of Kosovo, as the association of Serb municipalities has not been established for 5 years. He went on with demographic statistics after saying Serbia has dropped under 7 million people and lost 39 thousand citizens per year, reports “ABCnews”.

He said a climate of peace is needed to create security for life, and that resolving Kosovo's problem helps.

“We often have improper behaviour towards Serbs about Kosovo. But it's important to create a sense of peace for 100 years so people can feel safe to stay and family here”, Vuciq said.

Before meetings in Brussels, President Vuciq said compromise is the only way or no solution will be made. At the meeting with Thaci, Vucin said he would protect Serbia's interests.

I expect nothing since we have nothing new but to expect the establishment of association of Serb municipalities in northern Kosovo. I will talk and take care of compromise, not to defend the myths, but our future”, the Serbian head of state said.

He said Serbia would definitely have a chance to express itself in the referendum on Kosovo, while calling for Serbs to boycott the Kosovo Army.
