Kosovo police yesterday have detained five members of the Serb community, who have been caught shooting a police station in Pec.
This has been confirmed for Indexline, Kosovo police spokesman for the Pec region, Gevat Ibraj, under which suspects have been released in the evening.
On March 28th, about 18:30 near the Pec police station, five people have been detained.
Three from Belgrade, one from Pristina and one from Fushe Kosova, all Serbs. The reason for the ban and then the association at the station has been that they have been observed recording cameras to the police station at Peja”, Ibraj said.
According to him, the detainees had claimed to be part of an organisation but had no documents to prove it.
“Then during the talks they have said they are non-governmental organisations (free legal services), but the same have not owned any kind of document to prove such a thing to the organisation in question. They entered Kosovo on March 26th, about 10:00 through the Jarinje border. State prosecutor was consulted for them, and around 10:40 were released to go towards them”, Ibraj concluded.
