The old airport building is located right next to the new facility, whose management makes the Turkish-French consortium Limak-Aeroport de Lyon since 2010.
Kosovo police, in a response to Time, have said that the “Turkish citizens who have been revoted residence permits in Kosovo have left Pristina Airport by plane at 11:05 minutes on the 29/03/20188x1>.
“We ensure public opinion that Kosovo Police remain committed to accomplishing their tasks, its responsibilities confirm its constitutional and legal mandate”, Kelani has indicated.
Authorities in Kosovo arrested six Turkish citizens Thursday, five of them employees of the Education Institute Glististan, property of Turkish cleric Fetullah Gulen, whom Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan blames for a coup effort in Turkey two years ago, as well as a Turkish doctor in Kosovo.
Kosovo institutions' leaders, President Hashim Thaci, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini have stressed that they have had no information on the action of security institutions to arrest and expel Turkish citizens.
Haradinaj, on Friday, has dismissed Interior Minister Flamur Sefaj, and Kosovo Intelligence Agency Director (AKI) Driton Gashi.
